June has been a good month for most of the Indian two-wheeler manufacturers. The growth rate has been on the positive side, due to the timely arrival of monsoon. So in this story, we list the most popular bikes on BikeWale for June.
Rank 3: Bajaj Avenger 150
The Avenger 150 from Bajaj has held this spot since last 2 months. This has been possible due to the lack of a cruiser motorcycle in the budget segment and that has made Avenger 150, one of the hottest research bikes on BikeWale. As compared to the last month, the Avenger 150 saw a 7.7 per cent increase in visitors at 1.59 lakh. Out of all the visitors, 34 per cent of them, showed interest in buying this bike and most of them were from Mumbai. Buyers from Delhi and Bengaluru came second and third in terms of buying interest, whereas buyers from Chennai and Pune took the fourth and the fifth spot respectively.
Rank 2: Royal Enfield Classic 350
For the first time in the last four months, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 has lost its numero uno position and that too with a big margin. The Classic 350 got close to 2 lakh visitors, out of which close to 75,000 of them showed interest in buying the Classic 350. Just like each time, consumers from Delhi showed the maximum interest on this cruiser, whereas Mumbai and Bengaluru came second and third, respectively. With close to 10,000 interest buyers from Chennai, the Classic 350 is the most researched bike in that city. Pune, on the other hand, took the fifth spot.
Rank 1: Honda Hornet 160R
The Hornet 160R has been performing really well in the last couple of weeks. Honda has been spending heavily on digital as well as outdoor advertising for this motorcycle, result? Too much curiousness around the product, which led to it becoming the most popular bike on BikeWale in June. The Hornet 160R received almost 2.27 lakh visitors and interestingly, 40 per cent of them wanted to buy this stylish motorcycle. Out of all the metro cities, consumers from Mumbai showed the maximum interest, followed by Bengaluru and Chennai. Delhi and Pune took the last two spots.
