In our April edition of the most researched bikes in India, we got you the details of the three most popular bikes in India. In fact, in the May edition, there has been a major change in the numero uno position. We list them down.
Rank 1: Honda CB Hornet 160R
In April, the CB Hornet 160R took the second spot in the most researched bikes. But in the last month, this motorcycle has beaten all other bikes including the Royal Enfield Classic 350 to become the most popular bike on BikeWale in May. With close to 2.19 lakh visits, the CB Hornet 160R is currently the hottest bike on BikeWale. Close to 34 per cent of the visitors showed interest in buying the CB Hornet 160R. Interestingly, majority of the buyers came from Mumbai and Bengaluru. Delhi came third, whereas Chennai and Pune came fourth and fifth respectively.
Rank 2: Royal Enfield Classic 350
The Classic 350 was the most popular bike on BikeWale in April. However, this time, in the month of May, this retro modern motorcycle took the second spot on BikeWale. Interestingly, the overall visits of the Classic 350 did see a marginal increase with close to 1.85lakh views, but failed to wrest the numero uno position from the CB Hornet 160R. Around 37 per cent of these consumers said that they’re interested in buying the Classic 350, with majority of these consumers coming from New Delhi. Bengaluru and Mumbai came second and third, whereas the last two spots were taken by Chennai and Pune.
Rank 3: Bajaj Avenger 150
The Avenger 150 is the most affordable cruiser one can buy in India, and that has helped Bajaj get a lot of sales and revenue. This time as well, the Avenger 150 was the third most popular bike on BikeWale in May. It has received over 1.48 lakh visits and 35 per cent of them showed interest in getting this cruiser home. Delhi and Mumbai were the keenest ones, whereas Bengaluru was third. Pune and Chennai took the fourth and the fifth spot with decent buying intentions.
