And this popularity is also reflected in the research pattern of internet users. The Activa 3G has consistently occupied the mantle of the most researched scooter in the country by a huge margin. A majority of users looking up the scooter are from Mumbai, followed by Delhi and Bengaluru.

2. Honda Activa 125

Combining convenience, practicality and good performance, the Honda Activa 125 is a premium scooter for those who can afford to spend big money on a scooter. While the high sticker price has hampered the sales of the Activa 125, it is still one of the most researched scooters on the internet. It might not have turned out to be as popular as its 110cc sibling, but the Activa 125 still generates the most amount of interest among all the premium scooters sold in the country by a large margin. Its closest competitor, the Suzuki Access attracted less than one third of the traffic generated by the Activa 125. Most of the users researching about this scooter were from Mumbai, followed by Delhi and Bengaluru.

3. TVS Jupiter

Mimicking the sales trend in the country, the TVS Jupiter trails the Honda Activa in this list of most popular scooters. The TVS Jupiter has consistently held on to the position of the second highest selling scooter for quite some time now. While the new Hero scooters (Maestro Edge and Duet) have come precariously close in terms of sales numbers, the Jupiter continues to trump them in terms of interest generated on the internet. As seen with the other two scooters on this list, Mumbai attracted the highest traffic, followed by Delhi and Bengaluru. With the launch of a new disc brake variant, we can expect to see a noticeable jump in traffic over this month.
