Royal Enfield has been updating its portfolio by introducing ABS equipped models. The Classic 500 is the latest to receive that treatment. The prices for the bike start at Rs 1.99 lakh for the base version and go up to Rs 2.10 lakhs for the Classic Chrome. Bookings for the bike have already begun across the country.
Ather 340 and 450 deliveries commenced in Bengaluru
Ather Energy has delivered the first batch of Ather 340 and 450 scooters in Bengaluru. The company is offering a comprehensive subscription plan that ensures a hassle-free experience for owners. It has also announced that it is planning on expanding the Ather Grid to Chennai before moving to other cities.
Piaggio launches discount offers on Vespa, Aprilia scooters
Piaggio is offering three years additional warranty, taking the overall warranty to five years for the entire Vespa and Aprilia range which consists of 125cc and 150cc scooters. The company is also offering free four-year third-party insurance post the first year, for which is payable.
Royal Enfield sets speed record at Bonneville
Royal Enfield set a record of 241kph at Bonneville using a bike based on the Continental GT 650. Astride the bike was Cayla Rivas, an 18-year old who also happens to be the previous record-holder for the class, which stood at 212kph.
