Bajaj finally launched their most awaited next generation Pulsars. As of now, there are two bikes on offer – the Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250. In this story, we tell you major differences between the naked streetfighter and the semi-faired one.
1: Design
The major difference between the Pulsar N250 and the F250 is the styling, mainly at the front. The N250 being a naked model doesn’t get the fairing that we see on the F250. The N250 gets a sharp headlamp cowl that houses neatly designed LED DRLs and a projector lamp, whereas the F250 gets a fairing that has some curves and creases. Due to the faired nature, the F250 also gets a decently-sized windscreen for wind protection.
2: Weight
The Pulsar N250 is the lighter than the F250 by 2kgs. The N250 tips the scale at 162kgs whereas the F250 weighs 164gs. The extra 2kgs on the F250 is mainly from the semi-fairing plastics.
3: Ergonomics
The Pulsar F250 looks sportier, thanks to the presence of semi-fairing. But as a result of this design language, there’s a slight revision in the overall ergonomics. The F250 gets raised clip-on handlebar, whereas the N250 gets a single-piece flat bar.
4: Pricing
The Pulsar F250 is the most expensive Pulsar on sale today. This model costs Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), whereas its naked sibling – the N250 is cheaper by Rs 2000.
