The Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers has released the model-wise sales data for the month of January 2023 with the Hero Splendor continuing to lead the chart by a big margin. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer sold 2,61,833 units during the month, while the second product on the list, the Honda CB Shine, secured 99,878 units sales. The Bajaj Pulsar range took the third spot, while the HF Deluxe and Platina completed the list in the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

The year-on-year sales for Splendor increased during January while the rest of the models registered a decline in the numbers. Hero MotoCorp sold 2,61,833 units during January 2023 as against 2,08,263 units in the corresponding month last year. The Honda CB Shine recorded 99,878 unit sales in January this year as against 1,05,159 units in the corresponding month of 2022. The year-on-year sales for Bajaj Pulsar declined marginally, from 85,926 units in January 2022 to 84,279 units in January 2023.
Then, the Hero HF Deluxe, the second-highest-sold two-wheeler in December 2022, secured the fourth spot by recording 47,840 unit sales in January 2023 as against 66,839 units in January 2022.
