Top 5 manufacturers in June

If you’ve read this report for May, you’ll see that there’s no change in the ranking for June. But you’ll see that in this month, there has been a massive increase in terms of visits and buying interest for all the manufacturers.

Rank 5: Yamaha

Yamaha has managed to stay in the fifth position due to the high visits on the YZF-R15 V2.0 and the FZ-S model pages. The Fascino, too, has helped Yamaha reach the 9 lakh mark when it comes to the overall visits to this Japanese brand. However, Yamaha failed to attract researchers to the Saluto and the SZ-R range. There were a total of 2.4 lakh buying interests for all the Yamaha bikes.

Rank 4: Royal Enfield

With close to a million visits and 2.5 lakh buying interests, Royal Enfield took the fourth spot. But the Chennai-based manufacturer saw a very good increase as compared to last month. This happened due to strong demand for the Classic 350 and the Thunderbird 350. And we’re sure, Royal Enfield will continue to perform in the future as well.

Rank 3: Hero MotoCorp

This is one company, which has the most number of products in the Indian market. But it lacks a product that is new, freshor has a good design, which results in a good online research. However, scooters like the Maestro and the Duet have helped them take the third spot. But interestingly, the Splendor iSmart is the most researched bike on BikeWale in June, which is quite surprising. Overall stats for Hero stood at close to 1.1 million visits and 4 lakh buying interests.

Rank 2: Bajaj

Bajaj is on a roll. Most of its products like the Avenger 150, the Pulsar RS200 and even the V15 are doing really well on BikeWale. These bikes have helped the company get close to 1.4 million visits – a big jump in figures from last month. The buying interest figure also saw a jump to 4.4 lakh and this is bound to increase once Bajaj launches the CS400 – one of their most awaited motorcycles.

Rank 1: Honda

The Activa and the CB Hornet 160R – these two products have helped Honda become the most popular manufacturer on BikeWale in June. These two brands contribute almost 30 per cent of the overall Honda traffic. Total visits stood at 1.6 million visits and buying interests at 5.6 lakh. These stats are bound to grow as we approach the festive season.
