Hero has plonked a 110.9cc single-cylinder engine in the Pleasure Plus and it develops 8bhp and 8.7Nm. The braking hardware comprises drum brakes at both ends for the base model and the suspension setup consists of telescopic front forks and a single rear shock.
Hero Maestro Edge Plus
Another Hero scooter to make it to the list is the Maestro Edge 110. It retails at Rs 66,820 (ex-showroom Delhi) and offers a 110.9cc motor with the output rated at 8.04bhp and 8.7Nm. The styling is quite youthful and the Maestro Edge Plus also offers extensive usability. It weighs 112kg and gets a fuel tank capacity of five-litres. The Maestro Edge Plus features a semi-digital instrument cluster with various readouts like the speedometer, fuel level gauge, odometer, and more.
TVS Scooty Zest 110
If the Scooty Pep doesn’t cut it then you can also check out the Zest 110. Its asking price starts at Rs 68,066 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Gloss variant. TVS has powered the Scooty Zest by the same motor as the Pep. However, the two differ in terms of styling. The Zest gets a slightly broad fascia and seat while the Pep appears to be slimmer. It features telescopic front forks and a single rear shock. Overall, the Scooty Zest 110 makes for a good beginner scooter.
Honda Dio
Last but not least, the Honda Dio has also made it to the list. It costs Rs 67,817 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is one of the sportiest-looking scooters out there. Its design is youthful while fairly practical as well. The Dio draws power from a 109.5cc single-cylinder mill that develops 7.65bhp and 9Nm. It gets a halogen headlight, engine start/stop and an analog instrument cluster.
