SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile manufacturer) has revealed the October sales figures for the Indian two-wheeler market. And in this story, we’ll address the top five petrol scooters sold last month.

Starting off the list is the Honda Activa range. The Japanese scooter continues to be India's most preferred choice, with a total of 2,10,623 units sold in October 2022. It’s further followed by the TVS Jupiter range with 77,042 unit sales recorded. Compared to October 2021 numbers, TVS sold almost 5,000 units more last month.
The Suzuki Access 125, TVS Ntorq, and Honda Dio took the third, fourth, and fifth spots. The Access raked in 49,192 unit sales whereas the Ntorq and Dio recorded 31,049 units and 24,134 units respectively. Overall, all scooters except the Honda Dio have witnessed an upward trend in October 2022 sales compared to last year's corresponding month.
