The Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers has released the model-wise sales data for January 2023. The Hero Splendor continued to lead the sales chart yet again while the Honda Activa regained the second spot after losing it to the Hero Deluxe in December 2022. Meanwhile, the Hero Deluxe has slipped to the sixth position last month.
The Splendor registered a growth in year-on-year numbers and recorded 2,61,833 unit sales during January 2023. In comparison, the Indian two-wheeler maker sold 2,08,263 units in the corresponding month last year. The year-on-year sales for Activa, on the other hand, declined from 1,43,234 in January 2022 to 1,30,001 units in January 2023.

The Honda CB Shine, too, registered a decline in year-on-year sales for January, while the Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Jupiter witnessed growth during the same period.
