- Priced at 34,900 Euro (Rs 30.39 lakh)
- Uses Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension
- Gets carbon aerodynamic package that’s inspired by Aprilia RS-GP
Aprilia has revealed the track-spec iteration of the Tuono V4 that makes a lot more power than the standard motorcycle. Christened as the Tuono V4 X, the track-spec naked motorcycle will be limited to just 10 units.
The four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor on the Tuono V4 X makes 218bhp of maximum power. Aprilia has also opted for weight-saving measures and the track-spec Super Tuono tips the scale at just 166kg (dry). The standard motorcycle, in comparison, produces 172.6bhp of power and weighs 184.6kg (dry). The limited-edition bike also features a carbon aerodynamic package that’s inspired by Aprilia's RS-GP MotoGP machine. The aerodynamic package aims to increase stability at high speeds and also while braking.
The Tuono V4 X further gets an Akrapovic exhaust system that features titanium manifolds and a carbon tailpipe. The motorcycle also features Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension system. Anchoring power comes from Brembo braking system with GP4-MS callipers.
The electronic package features engine maps optimized for the racing exhaust system and track-spec engine brake, traction control and anti-wheelie levels. The colour TFT instrumentation features a lap timer that works with an integrated GPS sensor.
Aprilia rider, Lorenzo Savadori clocked the fastest lap of 1'50' pace at the Imola circuit on the Tuono V4 X. The motorcycle has been priced at 34,900 Euro (Rs 30.39 lakh).
