- No details available about its arrival in the Indian market
Triumph in collaboration with Beeline has introduced a motorcycle navigation system. The navigation system can be used with all Triumph motorcycles, and it's specially designed for the Bonneville modern classic range. There's a Beeline app that the customers are required to download to pair their smartphone to the device. For the uninitiated, Beeline is a company that manufactures navigation and tracking systems for riders. The company had launched their first product Velo in the summer of 2015.
The Triumph-Beeline navigation system gets features like easy to mount twist-lock system, only four steps required to set up and use, a clear back-lit display and two navigation modes. The device also gets a machined alloy case with IP67 waterproof and shockproof construction. The navigation device can be used for international coverage in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
The device is claimed to have a battery life of thirty-hour and will be covered with a two-year warranty. The device will include a USB charging cable, strap mount, quick start guide, free lifetime app and software update. A few additional features are a speedometer, clock, a trip computer, route tracking and sharing, metric and imperial information options and GPX route import option.
The customers are expected to contact their nearby Triumph dealership to buy the navigation system. The price of the device will also be revealed from the dealer's end. However, as of now, there's no information about this navigation device to be offered in the Indian market.
