Triumph will unveil the Speedmaster, based on the Bonneville Bobber, on 3 October. The British marque plans to unveil another motorcycle called the Bobber Black, based on the Bobber soon after.
The standard Bonneville Bobber features many black components like the indicator covers, rims, cam covers along with a black paint scheme. Additionally, the Bobber Black will sport more of the colour with matte black exhausts, engine covers and headlight ring.
The Bonneville Bobber Black would not be the first Triumph to carry the ‘Black’ title. Currently, the Bonneveille T100 and Bonneville T120 both get a ‘Black’ version in the international markets. The bikes get blacked out engines, transmission covers, cam covers and exhausts along with black headlight rings, pillion grab rails, indicator covers and mudguard.
We can expect Triumph to unveil the Bonneville Bobber Black at the EICMA show in Milan this November. However, considering that the T100 Black and T120 Black aren’t available in India, it is unlikely that the Bobber Black would make it here anytime soon.
