Triumph will launch the Bonneville Speedmaster, a crusier based on the Bonneville Bobber today. The bike will be debut at the launch of the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience in Hinckley, UK.
According to leaked details, the Speedmaster will use the same 1200cc engine from the Bonneville Bobber. The parallel-twin unit delivers 76bhp at 6100rpm and 106Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The Bobber is a single-seater and those who prefer taking a pillion could opt of the Speedmaster.
Triumph will also open the doors to its visitor facility today. The facility will have two dedicated floors located a corner of the main factory building. It includes a cafe and the visitor centre that will showcase Triumph’s historic bikes along with its current range.
We can expect the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster to be launched in India at the 2018 AutoExpo. When launched, the bike would rival the Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom.
