- Bonneville T100 and T120 Black India launch tomorrow
- Get cosmetic changes
- Expected to be priced at a slight premium over base models
The Triumph Bonneville T100 Black and Bonneville T120 Black are scheduled to be launched in India tomorrow, 12 June.
The special-edition motorcycles are based on the standard T100 and T120 that are also available in India, although with cosmetic changes. The chrome details on the standard motorcycles have been traded for all-black components on the Black Edition motorcycles. So, they feature a black-finished drivetrain, exhausts, rims, mirrors, headlamp cowl as well as indicator mountings. The Bonneville T100 Black and Bonneville T120 Black also feature a dark brown seat that further distinguishes them from their standard counterparts.
Nevertheless, the motorcycles are unchanged mechanically. The Bonneville T100 Black comes powered by a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 54.3bhp at 5,750rpm and 76.73Nm at 3,050rpm. The motor is paired to a five-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the T120 Black uses a 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, engine that churns out 79bhp at 6,550rpm and 105Nm at 3,100rpm. The T120’s engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Moreover, the suspension and braking hardware on the Black edition models are also similar to the respective standard variants.
While there is no confirmation about pricing as of now, we expect the Black editions to cost a slight premium over the standard models.
