Triumph recently launched the Bonneville T120 Black in India at Rs 9.97 lakh (ex-showroom). If you want to buy a motorcycle in the same price range, here is the list of options to look from.
Triumph Bonneville Bobber: Rs 10.28 lakh
In Triumph’s showroom itself, you would find the Bonneville Bobber. The Bobber is powered by the same 1200cc, parallel-twin engine as the T120. However, the motor on the Bobber has been revised to produce 76bhp and 106Nm. As its name suggests, the modern-retro styled motorcycle draws inspiration from bobber motorcycles and gets a unique ‘floating seat’ with a hidden monoshock underneath for a hardtail look.
Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer: Rs 9.78 lakh
The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer’s styling has been borrowed from the 70s and 80s racer motorcycles. It features lowered handlebars, race number plate, cropped fenders, and a Silver/Blue paint scheme that completes its look. The Scrambler Cafe Racer uses an 803cc, L-twin motor that churns out 71.4bhp and 67Nm.
Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled: Rs 9.93 lakh
Powered by the same 803cc engine as the Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer is the Scrambler Desert Sled. However, the Desert Sled is an off-road-focused variant in the Scrambler family with long-travel suspension, knobby tyres, secondary mudguard, headlamp mesh guard, as well as switchable cornering ABS.
The BMW F 900 R is the only streetfighter motorcycle in this list and it sports an aggressively designed bodywork to match its character. It gets a low-slung full-LED headlamp, muscular fuel-tank with sharp tank extensions, and a stubby rear end. Powering the motorcycle is an 895cc, parallel-twin motor which produces around 99bhp and 90.8Nm.
