Triumph’s upcoming two motorcycles have been spied testing by folks at cycleworld. Both the bikes, one fully-faired that somewhat resembles the big Daytona and the naked sport bike, look a lot like the Street.
Both the bikes sans camouflage and look to be pre-production models. Triumph had announced a 250cc engine during the 2013 EICMA event and we expect both the spied bikes to feature the same quarter-litre engine. These entry- level motorcycles are targeted towards young and new buyers who are looking for decent amount of performance. The new 250cc Triumph will be fully manufactured at their Narsapura plant, just outside Bangalore. This will help them avoid steep tariffs that the government imposes on exports and due to cheap labour, it will be able to manufacturer products at a lower cost.
Once launched, the Triumph 250cc will compete with the Honda CBR250R, KTM Duke 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the soon- to- be- launched Suzuki Inazuma GW 250.
