Triumph had recently unveiled the Daytona 660 in India but the bike is yet to be launched here. However, the British middleweight’s accessory list is already out, and quite a few parts can be added to the bike.
The list of accessories for the new Triumph Daytona 660 comprises bolt-on engine cover protectors, rubber tank pad, frame protectors, through-axle fork protectors, and an all-weather cover with a battery charger. Then, you can also purchase the My Triumph Connectivity System for smartphone connectivity with phone and music operation, turn-by-turn navigation, under-seat USB socket, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Moreover, Triumph also has a list of cosmetic accessories, including an oil filler cap, pre-drilled for lock-wiring, paddock stand bobbins, bar end finishers and a rear brake reservoir. For added comfort, you can also opt for heated grips, pillion grab-rails, comfort rider seat, and a low seat height option to reduce the height by 25mm to 785mm.
Since the new Daytona 660 appears to be more of a sport tourer, buyers can also purchase a tank bag and a tail pack for luggage storage. Lastly, there are a bunch of Triumph security accessories to keep the bike safe. This includes Triumph Protect with Alarm, Triumph Track and Tracker (requires annual subscription), U-lock, disc lock, disc lock with alarm, ground anchor, chain and lock.
We expect Triumph to price the new Daytona 660 around Rs. 9 lakh to Rs. 9.25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the soon-to-be-launched Honda CBR 650R.
