- No word on availability
Triumph Motorcycles India has announced the launch date of its Gold Line range of motorcycles. The Hinckley-based manufacturer is set to introduce the limited-edition models in the country on 21 December.
This special ‘Gold Line’ range was globally unveiled a few months ago and includes the Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Bonneville Speedmaster, Bonneville Bobber, as well as the Street Scrambler. And to set them apart from the standard versions, the Gold Line models get some special cosmetic treatment. The Bonneville Speedmaster gets a silver-coloured fuel tank with gold stripes on the tank and side panels. The Bobber, on the other hand, has been adorned with bold red for the fuel tank and contrasting gold highlights.
Triumph has given the Bonneville T100 and T120 Gold like green and silver paint with golden, hand-painted lines here and there. There also is a Gold Line logo on the fuel tank and an option to add a silver ice flyscreen. Completing the list is the Street Scrambler that features a blue and silver fuel tank with its other components finished in black.
Now, apart from the cosmetic changes, the Triumph old Line models are the same as the standard models. As for their pricing, we can expect Triumph to demand around Rs 30,000-Rs 35,000 over the standard prices. Nonetheless, for the extra premium, you do get to add exclusivity to your garage.
