There is no doubt that the Triumph Motorcycles India is going very aggressive with their India plans. Since it started its operation late last year, it has opened eight showrooms across the country with the ninth one in the pipeline in Kolkata.
The British manufacturer has revealed through a press release that it has sold over 600 motorcycles in the last eight months. That’s quite a big number considering the fact that its cheapest motorcycle starts from Rs 6 lakh. The company started performing from day one itself and managed to sell 450 bikes in the first 190 days. These sales numbers were possible because of the company’s approach towards prospective buyers. Its dealers make sure to give test ride to all the consumers who walk into their showrooms. Other manufacturers tend to sell bikes without giving test rides.
Triumph Motorcycles currently sells 11 motorcycles through eight dealerships based in New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Chennai. It’s the only manufacturer that sells a wide range of motorcycles like the roadster, adventure, supersport and cruiser. Looks like 2014 is a lucky year for Triumph Motorcycles and in 2015 the British manufacturer will launch its new 250cc range.
