Triumph Motorcycle India has released a teaser image of its new Bonneville range on its Facebook account. This is the first time the British manufacturer has released some information on the India launch of these new motorcycles.
The teaser image has three motorcycles, which we believe are the new Street Twin, the Bonneville T120 and the Thruxton. All these motorcycles were unveiled a couple of weeks ago, just before the 2015 EICMA. The Street Twin, when launched, will be the most affordable Triumph to buy in India. This bike will be launched first during the Auto Expo 2016, followed by the launch of the T120 and the new Thruxton.
Currently, the British manufacturer sells the Bonneville, which is the base model, the T100 and the Thruxton. The Street Twin will replace the base Bonneville model, whereas the T120 will replace the T100. The Street twin is powered by a new 900cc parallel twin engine, whereas the T120 and the Thruxton now gets larger capacity more powerful 1200cc engine.
Triumph will display the entire new range including the T120 Black and the Thruxton R at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo. While these two bikes won’t be launched initially, the company will gauge the public’s reaction at this biennial motor show. Talking about the price, these new bikes will cost more than the outgoing models, but we hope that the hike isn’t a big one.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more information on the new Triumph motorcycles.
