Triumph Motorcycle India plans to setup nine dealerships across the country by end of May. By end of April, this year, the British manufacturer is planning to have seven showrooms alteast that will sell 11 motorcycles.
The company currently has only two operational showrooms, Bangalore and Hyderabad. By April end, there will be dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Cochin, Chennai and Ahmedabad and Kolkatta will be added soon to the list. However, it is very interesting to see only one showroom in North India and majority of them being in South and Western India. We can expect more showrooms in Central and North India next financial year.
Nine showrooms within six months of its launch clearly shows how serious Triumph is about the Indian market. This strategy is expected to go more aggressive when Triumph showcases its new 250cc range of bikes and starts manufacturing at their proposed plant in Narsapura, Karnataka.
