Triumph India will be officially launching its motorcycles in India on November 28. The company has sent a ‘Block your calendar’ invite to BikeWale. The invite contains an image of the Tiger 800XC which makes us believe that it this is a confirmed motorcycle to make its way to India on November 28.
The company first showcased its range of some really mean motorcycles at the 2012 Auto Expo with some mouth-watering prices. But finally months of waiting, Indian consumers will have access to these machines on November 2013. Currently, it is not known what all motorcycles the Indian arm of the British manufacturer is planning to launch, but the Tiger 800XC is confirmed, courtesy, the invite picture.
Triumph India is in the process of setting up a facility in Gurgaon-Manesar industrial area to support CKD (completely-knocked-down) operations. The company is likely to setup a manufacturing facility in Narsapura area in Bangalore where they plan to make smaller capacity motorcycles and export across the world. Expect first few lots of Triumph motorcycles to make its way to India through completely-built-up (CBU) route.
We are very excited about the launch and will be there to cover the entire event. Stay tuned to BikeWale.
