Triumph Motorcycles India will be launching its first dealership in India on November 28 at Bangalore’s St. Mark Road. The showroom currently houses Mitsubishi vehicles and we believe it’s the same dealer who will take up the Triumph job.
In the first phase Triumph will open dealerships in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore which will be followed by showrooms in Pune, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Cochin and Goa.
Triumph India is in the process of setting up a facility in the Gurgaon-Manesar industrial area to support its CKD (completely-knocked-down) operations. The company is likely to set up a manufacturing facility in Narsapura area in Bangalore where they plan to make smaller capacity motorcycles and export across them the world. However, expect the first few lots of Triumph motorcycles to make its way to India through completely-built-up (CBU) route.
