Triumph has launched their 10-product range for the Indian market, today. The British auto major will be offering the Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Thruxton , Tiger Explorer, Tiger 800 XC, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Thunderbird Storm, Rocket III and the Daytona 675R starting December. The classic Bonneville is the entry-level model priced at Rs 5.7 lakh, while the range topping Rocket III will cost Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Triumph will assemble six of these bikes in India at their new facility in Manesar. The Bonneville range, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Daytona 675R and Thruxton get a competitive pricing owing to low customs duty, while the bigger bikes including the Thunderbird Storm, Rocket III and the Tiger series will be imported as CBU. All the bikes in the Triumph range will come with two years / unlimited kilometres warranty.
Triumph has plans to open four dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore, by the end of December as part of the first phase. The dealerships will offer accessories, apparels and riding gears along with the motorcycles. The British company is also investing in a facility to increase the production by 50 per cent. They will also build the new Triumph 250cc motorcycles which will be launched in 2015.
