Triumph has introduced a new limited edition of its popular cafe racer, the Thruxton. Limited to 100 units, the motorcycle has been christened Thruxton Ace and will be sold only in Europe. The motorcycle was unveiled by Mr. Mark Wilsmore, the MD of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, at the Ace Café in London.
The Thruxton Ace commemorates the association between the iconic Ace Cafe in London and the British manufacturer. It gets a unique white and black paintjob and carries ‘Ace Café’ logos on the side panels, tank and the tail. It also gets an oxblood custom seat, bar-end mirrors and a plaque with SE on the handlebar. Triumph also offers a range of customisable options for the Thruxton including arrow exhausts, seats and a host of chrome accessories.
With low slung handlebars, alloy-rimmed wire wheels, the sculpted custom seat and the racing stripe running along the tank, the Triumph Thruxton Ace is indeed one of the coolest modern cafe racer motorcycles that you can buy. The Triumph Thruxton Ace is powered by the signature 865cc parallel-twin engine which churns out 69bhp and 69Nm of torque through a five-speed gearbox.
Deliveries of the Thruxton Ace will begin in December, and though prices haven’t been announced yet, speculations suggest that the motorcycle will retail for EUR 10,840 (Rs 8.52 lakh).
