Triumph has recalled the Daytona 675 and 2012 Speed Triple motorcycles in US over issues with the throttle cable guide. The motorcycles were assembled without a throttle cable guide because of which the throttle cable will move around, hamper the steering operation and may lead to a crash.
Speed Triples that were manufactured at their facility in Georgia between June 2012 and November 2012 are being recalled. For Daytona 675, units that were manufactured between July 2012 and October 2012 will be a part of this recall. A Total of 652 motorcycles are being recalled this time.
This is the third time Triumph is recalling its products. The company will be contacting customers through dealers and will install a throttle-cable guide free of charge.
