- Speed 400 official on-road prices revealed
- Most affordable in Delhi at Rs. 2.68 lakh
- Scrambler 400X price reveal in October
Triumph Motorcycles India has finally released the on-road pricing of the Speed 400. This bike was launched earlier this month with an attractive price tag of Rs. 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers.
Due to its excellent pricing, many Triumph dealers started taking bookings directly. However, the on-road prices quoted by some of them were extremely high, which created quite an uproar on social media. The quoted on-road prices by some dealers were between Rs. 3.2 lakh and Rs. 3.5 lakh, which made the motorcycle look pretty unattractive. Thereafter, the company released a clarification stating that the on-road prices of the Speed 400 will be released by 10 July.
The Speed 400 is the most affordable in New Delhi, with an on-road price tag of Rs. 2.68 lakh. This Triumph will retail for around Rs. 2.9 lakh in Maharashtra, similar to Karnataka, due to high taxation. Currently, the on-road pricing of the Speed 400 will be between Rs. 2.7 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh. These prices will increase when Bajaj starts hiking the bike prices as it does with all the new launches. The first price hike for the Speed 400 will likely happen early next year as the bike is in great demand.
