Triumph has unveiled two new special edition Speed Triple models for the UK market. Christened Speed Triple 94 and Speed Triple 94R, these models commemorate the 21st anniversary of the first Speed Triple model rolling off the production line, in 1994.
Cosmetic tweaks on the special edition 94 models include black exhaust silencer wraps, fuel filler cap, a colour-matched fly screen, seat cowl and belly pan. Both the models also come with a graphite finish for the subframe and a Speed Triple 94 tank-mounted plaque, which sets them apart from the standard bikes.
While the Speed Triple 94 is mechanically identical to the standard bike, the Speed Triple 94R comes with a host of technical upgrades like fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes and Pirelli Supercorsa tyres from the Speed Triple R.
Both the special edition 94 models will be available either in racing yellow or jet black. Prices for the Speed Triple 94 starts at GBP 9,749 (Rs 8.97 lakh), while the Speed Triple 94R retails at GBP 10,999 (Rs 10.12 lakh).
