A Triumph dealership in the United Kingdom was offering owners a chance to be part of an official world record attempt on 4th September, 2016. According to an international source, the record was successfully broken. The dealership also took this opportunity to raise money for a brain tumour research centre.
The event was held by Staffordshire Triumph dealership and they had said that the staff from Guinness World Records will be present to document the success. The world record for the ‘Most Triumph Motorcycles in a Parade’ is awaiting confirmation from Guinness, which could take up to a month, but organiser Kevin Wilcox from Staffordshire Triumph said 688 people registered. The previous record for most Triumph motorcycles in a group was set in 2015 with a count of 362.
Each rider had to pay a small £5 (Rs 445) fee to be part of the trip. All the funds go to the Jessica Simpkin Children Brain Tumor Research Center. Mr. Wilcox was quoted saying, "We've almost certainly broken the world record by a lot, and we've raised a lot of money for Jess as well which is fantastic."
