Triumph Motorcycles recently unveiled the new Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition for global markets. So here let’s take a look at the details of the motorcycle through this image gallery.
The motorcycle is based on the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE, but gets a few styling revisions that pay homage to the Triumph TR6 ridden by Steve McQueen in the classic movie- ‘The Great Escape’.
It also boasts of a limited production run. Only 1000 units of the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition will be sold worldwide. We can expect a few units to be available in India as well. Each of the 1000 units is numbered on the billet aluminum handlebar that also has Steve McQueen’s signature laser etched onto it.
What makes it even more special is the Competition Green paint on the tank with hand-painted gold lining and retro Triumph logos as well as a dedicated McQueen tank graphic.
Revisions have also been made to the bodywork with the Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen edition getting a high-set front fender as standard. It also gets a large engine guard as well as an aluminum radiator guard.
Triumph has also equipped the Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition with a brown seat and is offering the motorcycle with My Connectivity feature as standard.
Besides this, the special edition motorcycle remains the same as the 2021 Scrambler 1200 XE. It comes with the same 1200cc, parallel-twin motor and an extensive list of features like cruise control, cornering ABS, traction control as well as six riding modes.
