- To be powered by a 1200cc, parallel-twin engine.
- Expected to be unveiled on 24 October.
Triumph has released a second teaser video of revealing more details about the upcoming Scrambler 1200.
The video reveals that the bike will sport a full-LED headlamp, similar to the Bonneville Bobber and Speedmaster and gold-finished inverted front forks. It also gets an engine sump guard and high mounted dual exhaust pipes on the right to boost its off-road capabilities. The Scrambler 1200 is also likely to come equipped hand guards and ride on a 21-inch front wheel and 19-inch rear wheel. The video also hints that the bike is likely to get a TFT instrument cluster.
The bike is expected to be powered by a 1200cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 96bhp and 112Nm of torque. It is also likely to be available in two variants- standard and ‘R’; with the R version getting higher-spec suspension and braking hardware.
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 will make its global debut on 24 October before the 2018 EICMA. We can expect the manufacturer to unveil the bike in India in the first half of 2019.
