- Deliveries to commence from first week of November
- Priced at Rs. 2.63 lakh
- Offered in three paint schemes
Triumph India debuted the Scrambler 400X back in June and the bike also went on sale during the same time. Its bookings, too, were open then but the pricing was only revealed earlier this month. Now, Triumph India is set to begin deliveries of the bike in the first week of November.
Triumph has priced the Scrambler 400X at Rs. 2,62,996 (ex-showroom, Delhi), and offers it in three paint schemes – Matt Khaki Green, Carnival Red, and Phantom Black. This is the British brand’s most affordable and smallest capacity scrambler bike currently on sale.
Powering the Scrambler 400X is a 399cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that makes 40bhp and 38Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. Triumph has tweaked the gear ratios on the Scrambler to suit the Scrambler 400X’s off-road capabilities.
Then, it features a thorough Scrambler design with a round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round mirrors, ribbed two-piece seat, and an overall tall stance. It also gets LED illumination, semi-digital instrument console, traction control, ride-by-wire, and switchable ABS. Its hardware includes USD front forks, monoshock, front and rear discs, and a 19-inch front with a 17-inch rear alloy wheel wrapped in off-road tyres.
The Triumph Scrambler 400X rivals the Yezdi Scrambler and the Royal Enfield Scram 411 in this segment.
