After its unveiling a few months ago, Triumph recently launched the Scrambler 400X in India at Rs. 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its bookings commenced back in June and the deliveries, too, are set to begin very soon. If you plan to purchase one, here is how much the Triumph Scrambler 400X will cost in your city.
It is evident from the above price list that the Triumph Scrambler 400X’s on-road price is the lowest in Ahmedabad and the highest in Bengaluru. Moreover, these include the RTO and insurance charges. However, the prices could vary as per your local dealer.
The Scrambler 400X shares its design and elements with the Speed 400. The round LED headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, golden front forks, and semi-digital instrument console are common between the two. However, the Scrambler 400X gets additional bits like a headlight grille, handguards, double barrel exhaust, split seat, and a handlebar brace.
The Scrambler 400X is powered by a 399cc single-cylinder motor that makes 39.5bhp and a torque of 37.5Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slip-and-assist clutch. Then, the front and rear suspension get 150mm of travel, which is slightly more when compared to the Speed 400’s setting. Then, the Scrambler also gets a larger 19-inch front wheel and a regular 17-inch rear unit with dual-purpose tyres. Triumph offers the Scrambler 400X in three paint schemes – red, black, and green.
