Triumph Motorcycles has updated its Indian product portfolio with the launch of the new Chrome Edition. The Chrome Edition vehicles are based on the standard variants of the motorcycles and the list includes the Scrambler 900 Chrome Edition. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the Triumph Scrambler 900 Chrome Edition.
In term of styling, the Scrambler 900 Chrome Edition gets a distinctive Brooklands Green fuel tank with a classic Jet Black tank stripe, and bold Chrome Edition metal knee pad infills.
Meanwhile, the Triumph triangle badges with metal detailing are visible on the fuel tank.
Elements such as mudguards, side panels, and the frame cowl, too, feature a Jet Black finish. Buyers can further customise the aesthetics with the optional Jet Black high mudguard and a Brooklands Green fly screen. A dedicated Scrambler 900 Chrome Edition Accessory Kit is also available for the motorcycle.
Design elements similar to the standard Scrambler 900 include a round headlight, round shape for the rear-view mirrors, curvy fuel tank with knee recesses, asymmetrically-mounted chrome fuel lid, split-style seats, and tall-set exhaust.
The motorcycle rides on wire-spoke wheels and uses telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear spring to handle the shock absorption tasks. The braking setup comprises single discs on both wheels.
The mechanical specifications retain the BS6-compliant, 900cc, twin-cylinder engine that makes 64.1bhp at 7,250rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. This edition of the Scrambler 900 has been launched in India at Rs 9,94,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
