Since its official entry to India in 2013, Triumph Motorcycles has helped the Indian big bike industry grow by quite a big margin.
And now, after 30 months of its India operations, the company has sold 3,000 bikes in the Indian market. And this was possible, due to Triumph’s aggressive expansion plans across the country. Through its 12 dealerships Triumph sells bikes starting from a street naked like the Street Triple all the way till big cruisers like the Rocket III.
For the company, the highest selling models are the Bonneville range and the Tiger. In fact, recently, the British manufacturer mentioned in their official social media channels that they’ve sold 500 Tiger range of bikes in the country, which is really a good number. Over the last couple of years, there’s been a steady increase in adventure lovers and that’s why there’ve been a good demand for Tiger bikes. Interestingly, other bikes like the Speed Triple and the Daytona haven’t been able to get a lot of customers. The new Street Twin is doing decent for the company, however, the exact performance will be known during the festive season.
To commemorate this sales achievement, Triumph dealers are offering 30 per cent discount on select Triumph jackets.
