Triumph Motorcycles has showcased one of their latest offering, the 2014 Tiger 800 XC at the ongoing 2013 EICMA event at Milan, Italy. The motorcycle was revealed soon after the company announced their plans for a new 250cc motorcycle that will be manufactured in India and exported to various markets.
The 2014 Tiger 800 XC SE is basically a cosmetically tweaked version the middleweight adventure-tourer which upon first glance looks quite fantastic. The bright red frame and volcanic black paint scheme gives it a very “this is a custom job” purpose built look. However, it gets even better as reports suggest that at the right angle the metallic flakes will make the bike stand out quite well. The Tiger 800 XC SE will be powered by the same 799cc that sits in the standard bike. It produces 93bhp and 79Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox.
It will be on sale in the UK first and then eventually go to the US a few months. The standard variant of the motorcycle will be launched in India on November 28. Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get more details and the price.
