Like every major other motorcycle maker, Triumph has gone the ‘special edition’ route to attract the crowd at the ongoing EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. The iconic British brand has unveiled a special edition version of its cruiser – the Thunderbird Storm.
Called the Nightstorm, this special edition version ditches majority of its chrome work and adopts an all-black theme with a custom paint scheme, an all-black exhaust and a new seat. Other bits to have given the black treatment include the handlebars, rear-view mirrors and the levers.
The Nightstorm is powered by the same big-bore 1699cc, parallel twin engine that also powers the standard Thunderbird Storm. Priced at £13,399 (Rs 13.15 lakh), the Nightstorm adds a host of styling touches to offer a more menacing presence to the standard model which already is quite a looker in its segment.
