Triumph’s partnership with Bajaj resulted in a fruitful product that was recently launched in the form of the Speed 400. The bike marks itself as the smallest and most affordable Triumph bike currently on sale. Speaking of affordability, here’s how much the Speed 400 will cost in your city.
As seen above, the Speed 400’s asking price is the lowest in Ahmedabad and the highest in Bengaluru. These are inclusive of the RTO and insurance charges. However, the price is subject to change as per your local dealership too.
Powering the Triumph Speed 400 is a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that makes 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm and gets a six-speed gearbox. The motor revs quite quickly and feels peppy too. The rider aids on the bike include traction control, dual-channel ABS, and ride-by-wire. Then, it gets features like LED illumination, semi-digital instrument console, and a USB charging port. The bike rides on USD front forks and a monoshock. During the BikeWale fuel efficiency test, the Speed 400 returned 29.88kmpl which should give it a range of about 390km.
Triumph offers the Speed 400 in Carnival Red with Phantom Black, Caspian Blue with Storm Grey, and Phantom Black with Storm Grey paint options. It rivals the Harley-Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and a couple of other names in the segment.
