Triumph Motorcycles unveiled the new Speed Triple 1200 RR motorcycle for the international markets. The motorcycle is based on the Speed Triple 1200 naked roadster. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the new Speed Triple 1200 RR.
The styling revisions on the Speed Triple 1200 RR include a revised front fascia that features a semi-fairing design and a tall-windscreen.
The RR version also uses a single-pod LED headlight as against the twin-pod setup on the roadster. The round headlight assembly gives a retro look to the Speed Triple 1200 RR.
Triumph Motorcycles has also revised the ergonomics and the Speed Triple 1200 RR features a sportier rider’s triangle. This has been achieved through the use of a clip-on handlebar. The footpegs, too, have been re-positioned on the Speed Triple 1200 RR.
The RR model further benefits fromthe Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 electronically adjustable semi-active suspension setup.
The alloy wheels are wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V3 tyres while Supercorsa SC2 V3 are available as optional extras.
The mechanical specifications retain a 1,160cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 177.5bhp of maximum power and 125Nm of peak torque.
The feature list includes full-LED lighting and a five-inch colour TFT instrument cluster. The electronic rider aids include cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control system, five riding modes, bi-directional quick shifter, and wheelie control.
