- Latest generation Triumph Speed Twin teased
- Global launch on 1 June 2021
- Will be more powerful than its predecessor
Triumph Motorcycles has just teased the latest generation Speed Twin. The British brand has announced that the global launch of the modern classic motorcycle will take place on 1 June 2021.
The motorcycle can be seen carrying a circular theme throughout. It gets a circular headlamp, a circular analogue speedometer, circular indicators and circular mirrors. It also gets a single-piece seat with a grab handle strap, chunky fuel tank, dual disc at the front, a single disc at the rear and a speed twin badge on both sides of the motorcycle.
The company claims that the new Speed Twin will possess better handling, higher specifications and premium detailing. The outgoing Speed Twin was powered by a 1200cc motor that used to churn out 96bhp and 112Nm. Although, the company has not yet revealed the engine specifications, but has claimed that the latest model will benefit from higher performance.
We expect it to enter the Indian market by the second half of 2021. Upon its arrival in the Indian market, it will compete against the likes of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight, BMW R Nine T Scrambler and the Ducati Scrambler 1100 in terms of the body style and displacement.
