Just a few days ago, we told you aboutTriumph’s renaming intention for a few of its bikes. Now, it is finally confirmed. The names of the Street Scrambler and the Street Twin will be changed.
According to a leaked US document, the British brand has changed the name of the Street Scrambler to Scrambler 900 and the Street Twin will now be called Speed Twin 900. These new changes are expected to take place not just for the American market but also for the world market.
While Triumph hasn’t released information on these changes, we believe it has been done to make these bikes belong to its 1200cc family. This family has bikes like the Scrambler 1200 and the Speed Twin 1200.
The Indian arm of the British company could roll out these bikes with the new name once the global rollout takes place.
