Triumph Motorcycle has finally commenced the deliveries of the Street Triple R and Street Triple RS in India three months after launching the motorcycles in the country.
The Street Triple R is priced at Rs 10.17 lakh while the top-spec RS with its additional features costs Rs 12.07 lakh, ex-showroom. While both come powered by a 765cc, inline-three-cylinder engine, the performance figures differ. The R offers 118bhp and 80Nm whereas the RS offers 128bhp and 80Nm.
The 2023 Street Triple range feature list includes full-LED lighting, cornering ABS, a lean-sensitive traction control system, a linked braking system, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quick-shifter. The RS variant further benefits from a lap timer, cruise control system, five-inch TFT display, Bluetooth module, and an additional ride mode (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider). In comparison, the R variant receives four ride modes.
That said, even the suspension and braking hardware on both motorcycles vary with the RS getting top-of-the-line components. Well, the styling is the same on both models but the only differentiation is the body-coloured belly pan and pillion seat cowl on the RS. Triumph offers the Street Triple R in Silver Ice and Crystal White while the RS is listed in Silver Ice, Carnival Red and Cosmic Yellow.
