Triumph Motorcycles has revealed the limited edition Street Twin Gold Line that will arrive in the Indian market in the near future. The motorcycle will be limited to just 1,000 units worldwide, and the allocation will depend on the market response. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the new Triumph Street Twin Gold Line edition.
The Street Twin Gold Line is based on the standard Street Twin, and thus it features the exact same design as the regular model. The styling cues include a round headlight, tear-drop fuel tank, flat saddle, and twin-sided exhaust cannisters.
The Limited Edition is distinguished from the standard model through its Matte Sapphire Black paint and the hand-painted gold striping. The striping is visible on the fuel tank and the side panels.
Other styling features unique to the Gold Line edition include gold rim tape and ‘Gold Line’ decal.
Triumph will offer only 1,000 units of the Street Twin Gold Line. Every unit would come with a certificate of authenticity that matches the VIN of the motorcycle.
Mechanical specifications and cycle parts are identical to the standard model. Thus, the Street Twin Gold Line uses a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 65bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
The suspension setup on the Triumph Street Twin Gold Line includes telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back. The anchoring tasks are handled by single discs with Brembo callipers on both ends. The motorcycle is built around a double downtube chassis and it rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.
