- To be unveiled on 2 October.
- 900cc, parallel-twin likely to be retuned for increased power output.
- Likely to get minor cosmetic changes.
Along with the 2019 Street Twin, Triumph has released a video teasing the updated Street Scrambler for 2019.
While the video does not reveal much, we can expect the Street Scrambler to sport minor cosmetic updates as well as a slight increase in power. The bike gets a scrambler-inspired design, and will continue with the spoke wheels and distinctive high-mounted, twin pipes. However, we expect the 2019 version to get new colour schemes for a fresher appeal.
The bike's 900cc, parallel-twin engine is also likely to get an increase in power output. The current motor puts out 53.5bhp and 80Nm of torque. We can also expect Triumph to equip the bike with a three-level traction control system in addition to the ride-by-wire throttle system and ABS.
The 2019 Street Scrambler would be unveiled at the Intermot on 2 October. It is likely to arrive on Indian shores early next year and compete with the Ducati Scrambler Classic.
