- New Thruxton RS teased
- Likely to get top-spec components
- Official unveil on 5th November
Triumph Motorcycles has released a teaser video of the upcoming Thruxton RS. This top-spec café racer will be unveiled to the world on 5th November at the EICMA Show in Italy.
The teaser video didn’t reveal much, but we believe the Thruxton RS will come loaded with some top-spec components and will sport a design that is bound to make the bike look more stunning. Currently, the Thruxton R is the most expensive model in the range, and it’s one of the best bikes we have ever ridden.
The upcoming Thruxton RS is likely to make things more interesting. We are expecting top-spec suspension setup, an engine that could churn out more power and some fancier cycle parts. The braking setup along with the tyres could be world class as well. There’s a high chance the RS could sport the bubble fairing as standard – something that comes as an option with the R model and standard with the TFC variant.
We don’t think the Thruxton RS would come to India anytime soon, as that brand isn’t a high seller in the country. It’s for the same reason Triumph India didn’t bring the new Speed Triple to the country. But if it does manage to bring the Thruxton RS to India, expect it to be priced on the expensive end.
