- Tiger 1200 India launch likely in the second quarter of 2022
Triumph Motorcycles India has listed the accessories for its flagship adventure tourer range, the Tiger 1200 ahead of its launch in our market. These accessories include luggage solutions, crash protection, and other tech to improve comfort levels. The luggage solutions include panniers, a top box, pannier mounts, a top box back rest, and waterproof inner bags.
The crash protection accessories comprise engine bars, sump guard, swingarm protector, tank pad, fork protectors, and a headlight protector. The optional tech that will be available for the Tiger 1200 includes an auxiliary light kit, shift assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Lastly, the comfort levels could be further enhanced with the addition of heated seats, adjustable air diffuser, and optional footrests.
Interested buyers can visit the company’s official website and use the online configurator to add these accessories to the motorcycle to get a price estimate. However, the website only lists the prices of these accessories. The ex-showroom prices for the Tiger 1200 range are not available yet. The company is accepting pre-bookings for the motorcycle and the launch is likely to happen in the second quarter (April-June) of 2022.
The new Tiger 1200 range will rival the likes of the Ducati Multistrada V4 and the BMW R 1250 GS range in the Indian market. We expect this flagship Tiger family member to retail in the same price range as the competition.
