Triumph Motorcycles India has announced that it will reveal the prices for the Tiger 1200 range on 24 May, 2022. Regular readers would know that Triumph Motorcycles India commenced the pre-bookings for this motorcycle in December 2021. This Ducati Multistrada V4 and BMW R 1250 GS-rivaling product from Triumph Motorcycles will be available in four variants – GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer.
The road-biased GT version uses 19-inch front and 18-inch rear alloy wheels and a relatively shorter suspension travel than the Rally variant. The off-road biased Rally variant, on the other hand, gets a longer travel suspension and 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels with a cross-spoke design. Furthermore, the Explorer variants get a larger 30-litre fuel tank and a rear radar system.
All variants use the same Euro5-compliant 1,160cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 148bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 130Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a shaft drive system. The feature list on the motorcycles includes full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display, ABS, traction control system, and cruise control system.
In more updates, the company will release a new promotional video a day before it announces the prices. This promotional video will display the Tiger 1200 motorcycles in treacherous riding conditions.
