- Both models get a special paint theme
Triumph Motorcycles India has listed its newly unveiled special edition middleweight adventure tourers, the Tiger 900 Rally and Tiger 900 GT Aragon Edition. These special edition motorcycles celebrate the Trail category victory by Iván Cervantes at the 38th annual Baja España Aragón event. Both motorcycles are based on the Pro versions of their respective standard versions and benefit from visual upgrades.
Thus, the Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition features a triple-tone paint theme that comprises Matte Phantom Black, Matte Graphite, and Crystal White colours. This theme is complemented by Racing Yellow accents on the front beak, radiator shrouds, and fuel tank. Further, the motorcycle also boasts a prominent ‘Tiger’ branding along with special ‘Aragon Edition’ details. It also receives fuel tank protector crash bars that come as standard.
The GT Aragon Edition, too, gets a styling upgrade in the form of a triple-tone livery that comprises Diablo Red, Matte Phantom Black, and Crystal White colours. This variant, too, features ‘Tiger’ branding and ‘Aragon Edition’ details. However, unlike the Rally model, the GT variant misses the fuel tank protecting crash bars. Notably, the company is offering 65 optional accessories for both models for further customisation.
The changes to these special edition models are limited to styling upgrades. Thus, the mechanical specifications retain the 888cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this engine delivers a maximum output of 93.9bhp at 8,750rpm and a peak torque of 87Nm at 7,250rpm.
All details about these limited edition motorcycles are listed on the company’s India website. The prices will be announced soon.
