- Tiger 900 Rally now available in Sandstorm paint
- Tiger 900 GT gets Caspian Blue theme
- No changes to the design or specifications
Triumph Motorcycles India has announced new colours for its middleweight Tiger models in our market. The Tiger range, which competes in the middleweight segment of the Indian market, comprises the Tiger 900 Rally, Tiger 900 GT, and Tiger 850 Sport.
The off-road biased Tiger 900 Rally and Rally pro variants get the new Sandstorm paint while the road-spec Tiger 900 GT and GT Pro models benefit from Caspian Blue with Matte Graphite shade. The relatively affordable Tiger 850 Sport is now available in Baja Orange paint theme.
The new Sandstorm paint on the Tiger 900 Rally is visible on the fuel tank, beak, and seat panel while the Matte Jet Black shade can be seen on the tank end panel and radiator cowls. Then, the new Caspian Blue paint theme on the Tiger 900 GT is visible on the tank, seat panel, beak, tank end panel, and front mudguard while the radiator cowls get the Matte Graphite treatment.
The changes are limited to the updated colour palette. The styling and specifications, on the other hand, remain unaltered. All three variants use the same 888cc, inline-three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor is tuned to deliver 93.9bhp and 87Nm on the 900 series. The Tiger 850 Sport, in comparison, makes a relatively lower 84bhp and 82Nm.
